ACGBP Team Participation at CIAC 2026

The APEC–Canada Growing Business Partnership (ACGBP) team participated in the Canada-in-Asia Conference 2026 (CIAC) in Singapore, held from February 10–11, where the team showcased the project and engaged with business, government, and research stakeholders.

The dissemination booth was used to present ACGBP’s work across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Viet Nam, highlighting the project’s purpose, progress, and key outputs.

We shared findings from the project’s research studies and policy briefs and demonstrated project impact through business management capacity-building workshops, policy leadership workshops, and mentorship programs implemented across the focus economies.

Interactions at the conference enabled important exchanges on inclusive and gender-responsive MSME development, strengthened awareness of the project among stakeholders shaping policy, investment, and programmatic interventions, and reinforced the relevance of ACGBP’s work within Southeast Asia’s MSME development priorities.

These interactions also created space to reflect on the project’s impact to date, including the ACGBP project’s direct support to more than 200 MSMEs and engagement with more than 160 policy actors across participating economies.

Overall, CIAC served as an important platform to share ACGBP’s work, increase its visibility, and connect with partners committed to advancing inclusive and sustainable MSME growth across the Asia Pacific region.
