Strengthening Cultural MSMEs Through Inclusive, Gender-Sensitive Policy Innovation in The Philippines 

The APEC-Canada Growing Business Partnership is launching a Policy Leadership Workshop Series in the Philippines in collaboration with the Philippine APEC Study Center Network (PASCN).

The APEC-Canada Growing Business Partnership is launching a Policy Leadership Workshop Series in the Philippines. In collaboration with the Philippine APEC Study Center Network (PASCN), APF Canada will host four workshops aimed at improving the policy landscape for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Philippines. The series will feature experienced speakers with knowledge of MSME issues to lead a timely and necessary discussion on promoting sustainable, gender-responsive, and inclusive MSME development. 

The series will be distributed across three locations, over four days: 

  • October 2: Roots & Realities: Exploring Gender, Culture & MSMEs
    • PIDS Conference Hall, Quezon City 
  • November 12: Breaking Barriers: Shaping Systems for Inclusive Growth 
    • Central Luzon State University, Nueva Ecija 
  • December 11 & 12: From Barriers to Breakthroughs: Equipping Inclusive Changemakers / The Pact for Progress: Co-Creation & Commitment to Action
    • Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, Cagayan de Oro 

APF Canada and PASCN are honoured to welcome keynote speakers from the Embassy of Canada to the Philippines, Department of Trade and Industry Philippines, and PASCN to attend these sessions.
