On June 24th, 2025, the Kenan Foundation Asia hosted a successful Business Management Workshop in Thailand. Special guest speakers included Mr. Sanjeev Chowdhury, Counsellor (Commercial) and Senior Trade Commissioner from the Embassy of Canada to Thailand and supportive WE-Can members.
The event focused on empowering MSMEs with skills that are future-ready, particularly by leveraging Generative AI as a business assistant. The training was designed to equip Generative AI to function as if it were the business owner, enabling entrepreneurs to reduce costs while simultaneously improving operational efficiency across various areas.The event also provided an opportunity for networking among entrepreneurs and external stakeholders and celebrated the transition to the next country level activities: a mentorship program for women entrepreneurs.
Participants, including project participants, project partner, participant’s business partners, and MSME business owners, had the opportunity to showcase their businesses, explore peer innovations, and connect with mentors and fellow entrepreneurs in an inspiring, collaborative space.
